Yuanping Central Times Square project is located at the intersection of Qianjin West Street and Tiyu North Road in Yuanping City. The construction area of the project is 83636m2, of which there are two basements with an area of 21441.35m2, and the ground is divided into six buildings with an area of 62399.84m2. 1#-4 Building # has 25 floors, of which floors 1 to 4 are commercial, floors 5 to 25 are residential buildings of 32,821.6m2; Building 5# is a two-story management room with an area of 661.22m2; Building 6# is a five-story commercial building.
The construction technology of a large-span steel structure glass dome roof is applied to this project. The commercial pedestrian street is between the 1#~4# and 6# buildings, and all the commercial pedestrian streets are steel structure glass skylights. The glass skylights have oval and arc types. Two compositions, the projected area is about 1500m2. The short span of the glass roof is 18m and 24m, and the height from the ground is 20m. Using this construction technology, the glass dome roof has beautiful appearance, fast construction progress, short cycle, and the amount of on-site welding is reduced by nearly half; it can reduce the measurement and control of components at the construction site stage, and reduce the amount of inspection of welding seams. Welding quality and precision is a construction technology worthy of promotion. The steel structure glass lighting roof: the overall material adopts rectangular tube, and the frame installation adopts the method of hoisting in strips and blocks.
Construction Difficulties of Large Span Steel Structure Glass dome building
(1) Complex structure
The steel structure project of this project mainly includes the main structure of H-shaped steel truss and the raised structure of square steel pipe.
(2) Novel shape
The perimeter of the steel structure of the daylighting roof is a regular arc, and the inner ring is also a regular and similar arc.
The raised inner ring is supported by the lower inner ring. The entire lighting roof has concise lines and novel shapes.
